Live streaming world-class arts events
It couldn’t be a better time to be getting on with our Live Streaming project. In a post-Covid world where many of us will be reluctant to travel to city centres, streaming will bring the best of live British and international theatre, dance, art and music to Tisbury at an affordable price. The New Vic exec team and trustees have done a financial feasibility study (accounting for social distancing at events) and drafted an investors prospectus which aims to raise £32,000 in donations. This will be used to buy a state of the art audio-visual system and satellite receiver equipment.
Should the project not go ahead all donations greater than £50 will be refunded. (Donations less than £50 will be redirected to other funding projects within the hall.)
We are planning to offer an exclusive, varied and engaging programme of monthly events featuring:
Live opera, ballet or theatre from the Royal Opera House, Royal Ballet, West End, RSC or National Theatre, and other top venues
Award-winning film screenings from around the world
Top-selling concerts from Ariana Grande’s pop and Bruce Springsteen’s rock to the classical Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
Virtual tours of world-famous art galleries’/museums’ most prized collections and exhibitions
Crown-jewel events from the Chelsea Flower Show to Paris Fashion Week, as opportunity offers.
