The New Vic has also been helping Tisbury Neighbourhood Response (TNR), a team of 300+ volunteers supported by the Parish Council who are working together to help self-isolating residents in our community through the COVID-19 crisis. As it’s a volunteer group and not a registered charity, TNR doesn’t have a bank account for transacting donations and grant funding. The New Vic has therefore been acting as a banking repository for TNR, providing storage, and with Ros Russell’ help, we’ve also set up a dedicated TNR donations page ready to go if they need to raise money to support vulnerable people in the community if lockdown restrictions continue much longer.
