Classy, sophisticated and very cool jazz from the Harvey Brink Trio, who'll be playing classic Bill Evans compositions.

Bill Evans (1929–1980) was a highly influential American jazz pianist and composer. Celebrated for his lyrical melodies, impressionist harmonies, and innovative chord voicings, he revolutionized jazz piano and profoundly shaped the sound of modern jazz.

Harvey Brink is a fantastic Jazz Pianist when he's not hard at work as Deputy Director of Music Wells Cathedral School. His love of Bill Evans' music really comes across in his playing. He'll be joined by award-winning British virtuoso double bassist Ashley Long John. Based in Cardiff, Ashley is also a composer and his orchestral works have been performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
